First time buying a renewed PC through Amazon. It arrived well packaged and the machine itself was in perfect condition. Everything seems to work perfectly! Great price overall. My only issue is that there is no Bluetooth or wi-fi 6. Because it is a Dell, I could not install a card for those. I contacted the seller, but because of the language barrier, I got nowhere. I ended up installing 2 USBs with Wi-fi 6 and Bluetooth. Apart from that I works great.

This tower is just under a foot tall and 3 1/2 inches wide and runs at lightning speed.
It has numerous connector slots of all sorts, and Wi-Fi built in. Comes with a free Wi-Fi dongle which can be used with other devices, but I would have preferred a free USB C adaptor or two — as there are no USB C slots.
They are inexpensive on Amazon.ca but still an extra step.

Update 12.20.24 Thank God for Amazon customer service! The computer worked until 12.6.24. Then it shut down giving a BIOs error. Contacting the seller is useless. They will reply to messages with IT solutions, that if you are not tech savvy, probably won’t be able to attempt. Luckily, I am tech savvy, but the computer still won’t work. Seller is not good at customer service or truly wanting to replace/ repair the item. This is a very good value for the person who does not want to spend a lot of money on a new computer. It does everything as well as a new top dollar computer. Windows 11 works well. Like any new computer, you will need to update preferences and download from the cloud or transfer your files. It’s a really simple set up. There were no compatibility issues with my printer, monitor or mouse.
The only complaint that I have is the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with the unit. They are really cheap and it’s probably better for you to use your existing keyboard and mouse or purchase new ones. For me neither the mouse nor the keyboard would stay connected.

SSD drive failed in a month. Support is sketchy. BIOS is not a typical Dell BIOS. These PCs are cheap, but you get what you pay for.

There are three reasons to buy a computer from this seller: 1) Product quality, 2) A timely seller response to any issue and 3) Price and value.
MY EXPERIENCE
FYI: Dell has an app that will search the computer for any issue and for updates called Support Assist.
The Dell OptiPlex arrived in superior packaging and worked perfectly. However, the SSD drive was not the size ordered. After a note to the seller, a replacement was cross shipped immediately with only the tracking number of my return required. The replacement was sent quickly via FedEx.
Although I have never owned a Dell OptiPlex, it is evident that Dell manufactured them for long service and easy access. Mine is whisper quiet with specs that would cost much more if new. If you are familiar with the speed of M.2 drives vs previous SSD drives, you will understand the price/value relationship.
Finally, all communication with the seller has been above average though a graphics card upgrade for photo editing did not arrive as promised. However, a [Dell R9J9P AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB Graphics Card – Low Profile – GDDR5 – PCI Express 3.0 x16 (Renewed)] is available as of August 2023. Dell’s Support Assist program mentioned above will download the driver for the card automatically after you install it. Then use [Device Manager] to [Disable] the Intel 630 display adapter.

I like this replacement home computer. No compatibility issues with the software I had installed on my old Windows 10 machine. Everything works in Windows 11. This machine did NOT have a DVD-RW drive. I purchased a compatible internal drive directly from Dell for less than $30 and installed it myself. (I know that’s probably an “old school” move, but I still wanted the ability to create DVDs and CDs.)
I am very pleased with this machine. It was a great for the price.

The computer works as expected, very stable and fast enough for what I need, ie home and office applications. Also Wi-Fi streaming is good. Both keyboard and mouse are wireless and while I have no problem with the keyboard, the mouse doesn’t work well at all as I have to keep tapping it on the desk for it to work. That’s the only reason I didn’t give this product 5 stars. Overall well worth the price.
