Bought the Brave 4 Pro for our 2024 Galapagos sailing trip. Overall I was very impressed with its capabilities and price point (compared with GoPro). There is a small learning curve to navigate and control settings.
Captured snorkeling video with and without the Dive filter (better with filter on) and with the optional floating mount. Also took video and photos on island outings using the 360degree clip to backpack strap. And yes, an accessories kit is pretty much needed.
This Brave 4 Pro did not come with an SD memory card. I purchased a 128GB high speed (U3) Scandisk only to learn that the max memory size supported is 64GB. The 128GB does work in the Brave 4 Pro, but I suspect it only uses the first 64GB. Also learned from the instructions that video is shot in 4GB blocks. These memory facts were not mentioned anywhere in the Amazon description of the product.
Used the WIFI mode to view videos/photos on an iPad using the Akaso GO app. It worked fine, but the app is geared for the iPhone and does not take advantage of the larger iPad screen size. I did not download videos/photos to the iPad (not enough memory). Also purchased a 1T SSD drive to offload from the Brave 4 Pro. This path requires a PC. It would be nice if the Brave 4 Pro could write to an external SSD drive directly.

* Lower price point.
* 170degree adjustable viewing angle.
* Operating battery time > 1hour.
* Really nice video and photo quality.
Dislikes:
* None found to date (have not tried all the features like electronic image stabilization and time lapse).
Surprises:
* Max SD storage size is 64GB.
* Video is taken in up to 4GB chunks.

Opção de câmera de ação com bom preço. Possui recursos que permitem captar imagens com boa qualidade. Construída com relativa robustez, acompanhada de diversos acessórios para emprego subaquático, corrida, pedaladas etc. Ótima opção para quem não quer gastar muito com uma “top de linha.”

Good action cam but with a few caveats
I’ve been using the Action Cam for a few months now, and I’ve been mostly happy with it. It’s a great little camera for capturing action shots, and it’s very durable. I’ve taken it hiking, biking, and even skiing, and it’s held up well.
However, there are a few things I don’t like about the Action Cam. First, the battery life is not great. I can only get about an hour of recording time on a single charge. Second, the image quality is not as good as I was hoping for. The videos are a bit grainy, especially in low-light conditions.
Overall, I would recommend the Action Cam to anyone who is looking for a durable and affordable action camera. However, if you are looking for the best image quality, you may want to consider a different camera.

For the price, this camera is pretty incredible. I’ve been very impressed with the image quality, the stabilization and pleased with all the extra kit that came with it. I’ve used it swimming, snorkeling, diving down to about 15 meters, attached to a bike and on a hand held stick. The waterproof case is great, the underwater footage is ok (small sensor so not great low light) but is fine with an external light, and it’s pretty easy to use.
2 things I don’t like which drop a star. One, the selfie screen on the front of the camera is kind of a joke. Very dim, poor color, difficult to see. It’s a gimmick, nothing more. 2. every time you swap the batteries you have to reset all of the date and time settings which is irritating as heck.
