The Aroma 6-Cup Max Rice Cooker is incredibly easy to use—just add rice and water, press a button, and let it cook. The rice comes out fluffy and delicious, with no guesswork involved. The automatic keep-warm function ensures it stays ready to eat without overcooking. Cleanup is effortless thanks to the nonstick inner pot. With a 6-cup cooked capacity, it’s great for small families or meal prep, and it can also handle quinoa, oatmeal, and steaming. For a simple, reliable, and affordable rice cooker that delivers great results, this is a solid choice.

It uses the american plug but getting an adapter isn’t enough since it says it can only use a certain voltage. Voltage adapters break down easily from my mum’s research and also have constant problems with overheating, so just not worth it in the UK

The Aroma Housewares 6-Cup Rice Cooker is a compact and efficient kitchen appliance that is perfect for small households. It cooks rice evenly and consistently, and the 6-cup capacity is great for making just the right amount without taking up too much counter space.
The one-touch operation is simple to use, and the automatic keep warm function ensures your rice stays ready to serve. It’s also versatile enough to steam vegetables or cook other grains. Cleaning is easy with the nonstick inner pot.
That said, my last unit only lasted about two years, so I’m hoping this one will have better durability. If it holds up well over time, it’s a great value for the price!

Makes perfect rice. Easy to clean, small size but makes lots of rice.
I am very happy w/this product!

Nice clean look, small but efficient. Takes up little room. Easy to set and walk away, coming back to a pot of fluffy rice. Rice does tend to burn at the bottom.

I was given one of these rice cookers a looooong time ago. I cannot remember when. It was used when it was given to me and I literally cooked everything out of it.
The other day it just stopped working.
I didn’t hesitate to order a new one and it’s great. Not only, now I have to rice pots I can use instead of just one 🙂
If you want an easy simple rice cooker, this a no-brainer.
Fun tip:
If you order a small grill that can fit inside the pot (I have one I useand it works great) you can hear frozen food on it nicely. I heat up little pizzas, burritos, taquitos, corn dogs, etc. Also great for making good crispy quesadillas!
Have fun

Great product. I’ve bought two in the last year. One for me and one for a friend. Rice doesn’t stick at all. Washes well in the dishwasher. Perfect size and stores well. Doesn’t burn your rice as long as you pull the pot out of the cooker when the timer clicks. It isn’t messy at all. My last one spattered all over the place, that’s why I bought this one. Good product. Very happy.

We love this rice cooker so much! We use it at least a few times a week. It steams the rice perfectly and keeps it warm once it’s cooked. Just be careful not to leave it in there too long after cooking, when it’s set back on warm, as it can dry out some of the side portions and bottom portions of the rice.
We usually use jasmine rice, but you can use it for practically any kind of rice.
We like it so much that when family came to visit and they loved how our rice turned out that we decided to buy another one for our family members for Christmas.
It’s not too big -doesn’t take up too much space, but it can cook a large amount of rice at one time.
Be sure you’re following the instructions for rice preparation and depending on the type of rice to soak and drain it (we use a mesh strainer) before you add the appropriate amount of water and voila, you’ve got the best steamed rice you’ll ever have.
Use the measuring scoop and keep an eye on the water lines in the rice pot, and if need be, carefully stir the rice (if desired) holding edge of steam bowl with a potholder but it should turn out perfect either way!
It doesn’t take up too much space on the counter or when we store it away and so far it’s working great. One of our favorite frequently used appliances!

I have been a housewife for over 60 years, and in that time I’ve made a lot of rice and you’d think I’d be able to make perfect rice; but no. I’ve tried steaming, boiling, pilaf and risotto and the cooking results were hit or miss-either mushy, crunchy or burned. But since I started using this dandy little and reasonably priced rice cooker, the Aroma Housewares One Touch Rice Cooker, the rice cooks perfectly every time whether it is balsamic, jasmine, brown, or long-grain rice. It makes no difference; the rice is perfectly cooked. The rice cooker is easy to use and clean and comes with its own measuring cup (I have the 6-cup cooker) and spatula. Just be sure to rinse the rice before using to remove the excess starch. At first I stored the rice cooker in the pantry, but now that I use it so often, especially to make make poke bowls, it has a prominent place on my counter. I highly recommend this rice cooker for cooking perfect rice every time.
