Big Blue Sun –
I bought this Nook in September 2023. Here we are in June of 2024, the Nook froze when I was reading, and it has been frozen on the same page for three days.
I can’t move pages forward or backward. I cannot exit out of the book I was reading. It is absolutely frozen. It is kept inside, never taken out in the heat or cold.
I can only hope that when the battery runs out it will reset it but I can’t count on that. And if it unfreezes it is only a matter of time before it does it again.
The very first Nook I got as a gift in 2012 or 13 was wonderful. I eventually wore it out but that took several years. The next one was a Nook made by Samsung, which only lasted a few years. The battery swelled up amd destroyed it. Now this one hasn’t even lasted a year with very light use.
They just get steadily worse and more expensive. I am done. I will never purchase another Nook again.
I hate never buying one again because I love downloading and reading on my Nook but I don’t have the money to keep replacing these pricey tablets.

I use this just to read books But it is a little small

It was delivered later than expected but that was primarily due to bad weather in my area. Overall, I do really like it and will use it, but the screen is much smaller than I expected. I know it says 6″ touchscreen, but the screen is actually more like 4″ with the overall size of the Nook itself being 6″ so anyone with bad to really poor eyesight shouldn’t get this one.

I like that I am able to read in the dark. The only thing I don’t like that I always have to approve Adobe reader every time I download a book

I’ll be honest – I thought I was getting the larger reader but now I’m glad I got this version. You can hold it in one hand and easily manipulate the buttons. Yes – you do advance pages more frequently due to the page size, but that’s a small price to pay for the convenience of one hand operation.

Very slim compared to old style love it .

One of my best purchases in recent months. I read all the time these days and it’s so much easier to hold and see than a hardcover book. Plus I am able to enlarge the font for even easier reading. Just love it.

This was a disappointment. I returned it. Had to pay a restocking fee of $20 AND my own shipping fee of $14.70. It cost my $34.70 to return this. Also: this NOOK is tiny and only black and white.
