I bought this drone for an upgrade from the Mini 2. It’s a Mini 2 with a better camera and other great enhancements. I enjoy just carrying around just the drone and not with the remote control. It’s easy to use with its preprogrammed modes. Easy take off from your hand and if i need a quick control use your phone. Its limited on how far you can go with your phone but i just use it for the camera/video settings. I take it out for family events and just at random times. I have a Mini 2, Air 3 and Avata 2, so I know what I was getting and expecting. This is a great beginner drone. The battery charger had a slot for 4 batteries. It looked odd with just 3 batteries so I had to buy an extra battery and now it’s evened out.

I am very pleased with the image quality of the drone. The 4K images are the best, showing clear details. It is a cool try and very easy to operate. Importantly, it comes with a safe protective cover, so I don’t have to worry about my child getting hurt during operation I did my research before ordering! It is definitely the best choice for beginners, you will love it.

Great drone. It is the second I have had. Flip sits dead still in the wind. rather steep learning curve with the RC2 controller. Just not much out there because it is so new. Contacted customer service once and they were quite good. I recommend the pro pack. Charger, three batteries and carrying case (not very good, cheap). The rc2 makes the flying really fun. Would be a five if there were more online help

This drone is simply fantastic! The 48MP camera captures stunning detail, even in low light, matching the quality of much pricier models like the Mini 4 Pro. The 4K 100FPS slow-motion capability is incredible, but keep in mind that you’ll need a V60 or V90 microSD card to record it properly. Internal storage (2GB) works but is very limited, allowing only about 1.5 minutes of 4K 100FPS video.
Flight performance is top-notch, with a strong GPS signal, stable RC control, and excellent wind resistance despite the built-in propeller guards. While it might have slightly less wind resistance than the Mini 4 Pro, it still performs exceptionally well. The propeller guards add an extra layer of safety, protecting against collisions and even bird attacks—there are real examples of drones surviving pigeon encounters thanks to them!
With a 500m altitude limit, you can capture breathtaking views of skyscrapers, mountains, and landscapes. The drone is incredibly fun to fly, safe for tight environments, and overall a phenomenal product at this price point. Thank you, DJI, and the seller—everything arrived perfectly sealed and factory-new.

Ich verstehe nicht, wieso hier einige Leute so einen Frust schieben und 1-Stern Reviews da lassen, die einfach nur substanzlos sind und diese substanzlosen Reviews dann auch noch als „hilfreich“ bewertet werden. Die DJI Flip bedient eine Nische – nämlich die Nische unterhalb der Mini 4 Pro und oberhalb der Neo, mit einer nicht so breiten Zielgruppe, wie die beiden genannten Drohnen, nämlich 1-Personen Vlogger / Content Creator. Davon gibt es speziell in China nämlich SEHR viele. Und für diese Leute sind die Features der Neo sehr hilfreich – also von der Handfläche starten, mal eben ein wenig Footage einfangen und dann wieder auf der Handfläche landen. Evtl dazu noch ein wenig Footage im Follow-Mode und fertig – man hat genug Content für das nächste TikTok, Reel, Short, whatever. Dies wird mit der Vlogging Combo, die ein DJI Mic 2 enthält und die Möglichkeit, von einem DJI Mic Mini oder Mic 2 per Bluetooth in der App direkt aufzunehmen, unterstrichen.
Ihr braucht diese Features nicht? Dann seid ihr nicht Teil der Zielgruppe. Ihr wollt Wegpunkte in einer so günstigen Drohne? Träumt weiter! DJI wird immer Features exklusiv für teurere Drohnen zurückhalten – beispielsweise so wie eine Air 3S keine verstellbare Blendenöffnung hat – das hat nur die Mavic 3 (und irgendwann die Mavic 4). Aber deswegen einer wirklich fähigen Drohne aus Frust einen Stern geben? Whatever.
Also, was hat und kann die Flip? Eine deutlich bessere Kamera als die Neo – nämlich den gleichen 1/1,3-Zoll Sensor, den man in fast allen guten DJI Produkten findet (Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Avata 1, Avata 2, Osmo Action 4, Osmo Action 5, Air 3, Air 3S und Mavic 3 Pro (in den Telekameras).
Dazu dann die Sprachsteuerungs-Features der Neo, inkl. Start von und Landung auf der Handfläche und Prop-Guards, um sehr nah an Personen heran zu fliegen. Die Hinternisserkennung ist im Vergleich zur Mini 4 Pro abgespeckt und befindet sich auf Niveau der damaligen Mini 3 Pro – nämlich nach vorne und unten.
Speziell sollte man schauen, wie sich die Flip im Vergleich zur Mini 4 Pro schlägt, da sich viele die Frage stellen, ob man sich die Mini 4 Pro kauft oder die Flip. Die Flip kann nicht in HLG filmen. Entgegen der Beta Firmware vor Auslieferung, kann sie aber doch in 10 Bit aufnehmen – in D-LOG M.
Ich habe Vergleichsaufnahmen gemacht, die ich hier hochlade. In D-LOG M ist das Bild quasi identisch, weswegen ich speziell den Vergleich Flip mit D-LOG M und Mini 4 Pro in HLG anstelle. Und ich finde die Flip schlägt sich hier sehr gut. Für viele Amateur-Drohnenfilmer wird das wahrscheinlich reichen, sofern man keine Omnidirektionale Hindernisserkennung braucht. Habt ihr eine Mini 3, dann lohnt sich das Upgrade. Habt ihr eine Mini 3 Pro, dann müsst ihr Euren Geldbeutel fragen, ob es eine Flip oder eine Mini 4 Pro mit mehr Features sein soll. Falls ihr die Neo Features nicht braucht, könnt ihr mit der Mini 3 Pro aber das Upgrade sparen. Wer eine Mini 4 Pro hat, der kann getrost verzichten, AUSSER, man braucht etwas mit Prop Guards, um direkt neben Menschen zu fliegen, falls Ihr entsprechende Aufnahmen regelmäßig schießt.
In Sachen Performance, abgesehen von der Hindernissvermeidung, tun sich Flip und Mini 4 Pro wirklich nichts. Hier gibt es also keinen echten Unterschied im Feeling. Und das ist absolut positiv zu bewerten. Und das gilt genauso für die Bildqualität. Kein Unterschied festzustellen. Sieht man auch beim Footage, wie stabil beide sind – war aber auch windstill.
So, kommen wir zum Zubehör, was ich bei all meinen Reviews empfehle. Abschließend dann, wie immer, die Frage – wenn man sich nun eine Flip zulegen möchte, welche Version? Die mit dem RC-N3 Controller, die mit der DJI RC 2 oder direkt die Fly More Combo? Meiner Meinung nach diese hier: https://amzn.to/40wUKcB Warum? Wegen dem Preis! Wer sich eine Flip kauft, der achtet wahrscheinlich mehr aufs Geld als jemand, der sich eine Mini 4 Pro oder Air 3S kauft. Und deswegen kann man ruhig mit der günstigsten Variante starten. Ja klar, wer direkt das Fly More Combo kauft, der bezahlt rechnerisch am wenigsten bei all dem Zubehör. ABER: Die RC 2 bekommt man inzwischen sehr gut und deutlich günstiger in Onlineauktionen. Und extra Akkus und den Ladehub kauft man sich dann halt einfach nach und nach dazu. Kommt teurer, schont aber die Liquidität – und das ist ja auch was wert. Ich halte 5 Sterne für gerechtfertigt.

La qualité des images 4k est impressionnante, utilisé lors de mes vacances en Martinique , j’ai pu ramener de jolies souvenirs et des paysages époustouflant.
La prise en main se fait assez facilement et peut être utilisé par tout le monde.

The Flip is a surprisingly well designed and balanced drone. It possesses all of the “legal” requirements to be able to be flown in a wide variety of areas without violating any laws. You can fly over people due to the 249g weight, as well as the enclosed propellers. Performance exceeded my expectations, and I have extensive drone experience. It is more prone to being effected by wind, than say a Mini 4, but operates in far more rigorous conditions than say the Neo. Noise levels are reasonable, the camera is excellent, and overall flight performance is impressive.

Wowww!! Honestly, I’m out of words, for several reasons.
First, the drone is incredible, beautiful, so different in structure that it makes it unique in comparison with all the others from DJI. The 4K image capability makes it so powerful in terms of entertainment. The pictures are incredible and videos even more.
SECOND, and most importantly for me, is that the drone actually arrived. The seller that sold to me was “Beach Camera Same Shipping Day”; it arrived in just 2 days.
I ordered this drom directly from DJI and it never arrived because of a customs problem with the DJI company and the government of the US. Then, I ordered from Amazon to a seller that never shipped it. And lastly, without any hope honestly, I ordered from Amazon to these guys and since the ship it from NJ, I believe, there was no problem and got delivered in just two days.
Awesome work from the seller. And awesome drone, the built-in screen controller is a big plus, so I recommend it. Buy it from Beach Camera Same Day Shipping, and enjoy it, it is great.

El concepto y la calidad del dron son muy buenos. Me gusta muchísimo el concepto y la imagen de seguridad que da en general con los protectores de helices, gran estabilización, muy buena autonomía y es muy fácil de volar.
Cosas que mejoraría:
1.COLOR Y PROCESADO: El procesado del color de las fotos y los videos es muy contrastado y poco cálido. El del DJI Mini 2, por ejemplo, tiene un color muchísimo más cálido y agradable para mi gusto. La calidad de las fotos ocupa mucho espacio y no sé si será por el procesado o por otra razón, pero se ven un poco cuarteadas y artificiales.
2. FORMATOS: No graba a 2.7K en horizontal ni tiene tamaños intermedios entre los 12 MP y los 48 MP. Lo ideal, en mi caso, sería un formato de aproximadamente 24 MP, ya que 48 ocupan muchísimo y 12 quizá se queda un poco corto. Sobre todo, a la hora de mandar fotos a redes y demás, los 48 MP requieren reducirlas de tamaño porque ocupan demasiado.
3. NO TIENE LUCES: Únicamente cuenta con la de la batería, lo que hace que al volarlo con poca luz casi no se vea. El Mini 2 tiene luces abajo, adelante y en la batería, por lo que es mucho más visible. Debería incluir alguna luz que pueda encenderse para aumentar su visibilidad.
4. MODO SEGUIMIENTO: Cuando se activa el modo seguimiento, detecta muy bien a las personas, pero si las pierde, no puedes girar el dron para orientarlo hacia donde están. Tienes que eliminar el seguimiento para permitir que gire, lo cual es poco práctico. Además, solo sigue a personas, no a otros objetos como vehículos.
CARGA DOBLE BATERÍA SIMULTÁNEA: Para que esta carga se realice de forma simultánea, hay que utilizar un cargador de mucha potencia, si no, no funciona. Esto quizá podría mejorarse de alguna manera, anunciarse de forma más clara o incluir en el dron un cargador específico para esta carga doble, ya que es difícil de encontrar.
5. APERTURA DEL OBJETIVO: No tengo claro que los drones deban llevar objetivos f/1.7 no modificables. La mayoría de los planos del dron son de paisajes y, a f/1.7, muchas zonas quedan desenfocadas. Deberían incluir un objetivo con menos apertura o, al menos, con un rango de f/1.7 a f/2.8.
6. RUIDO Y SEGURIDAD: Es una pena que siendo un drone que no da miedo a la gente por tener las helices protegidas, algo que me gusta muchísimo y da mucha tranquilidad. Pero el sonido es irritante y esto puede poner nervioso a más de uno. Mejorar el sonido poniendole helices de más aspas o algún otro sistema.
7. MANDO RC2: El mando con pantalla incorporada no tiene conexión a Internet, por lo que hay que cargar los mapas manualmente. Las zonas se cargan en franjas de tamaño muy pequeño, lo que es costoso y dificulta saber qué partes del mapa se han descargado y cuáles no. Se puede sincronizar con el móvil, pero al final prefiero mandos más baratos que se conectan directamente al móvil, asegurando así la conexión a Internet y mapas actualizados.
IDEAS:
1. DESENGANCHE: Estaría genial que el dron tuviera una función de desenganche que moviera las hélices de un lado a otro rápidamente para generar una vibración y poder liberarlo en caso de quedar atrapado en un árbol, cables o ramas altas.
2. REFORZAR EL GIMBAL: El DJI Mini 2 y otros modelos tienen protección anticaídas para el gimbal. Este modelo parece que no la tiene y la cámara queda muy expuesta.
Conclusión
¡Este dron es una maravilla para el precio que tiene! No se puede pedir más. ¡Gran trabajo, DJI! 😉

I Love DJI, and have been waiting for this to arrive, Very anxiously and was Not Disappointed ! I am Thrilled with this drone system. It is well designed and user friendly with it’s automated systems built in, as well as a whole range of capabilities for the more advanced drone enthusiast. I especially love the DJI RC-2 with it’s built in screen and is usable across a spectrum of other DJI Drones. One can do much more flight operations with this controller than lesser models. Always remember, Charge components before activation to ensure proper updating and completion of set up. P.S as I like to say, Get busy Flying or get busy Dying .
