I opened the deep fryer to put it together and was quite disappointed with the quality of the item.
The baskets are very thin and all three had damage of some sort, bent or not connected to the metal like they should be.
The cover that fits on top is also thin and when you remove it to take out whatever you are cooking, the grease drips everywhere!
I am extremely disappointed with this item as I spent much time choosing this for my bf for Father’s Day. The quality is just not there for the price I paid. I will probably end up throwing it out at some point because I don’t think it’s going to last long.

We LOVE this fryer. I used to have a tiny little fry daddy I got as a hand me down and it spurted oil everywhere and was a hazard to be around. But this is so nice! It does spurt oil everywhere and has multiple baskets and has a nice cover. I have an Autistic daughter with sensory issues and will only eat certain food made a certain way. With this she will now try fries at home instead of fast food fries that cost a lot and a few other new foods. (Hate that it’s fried but hey a new food is a new food!) My only problem with it is that it’s really hard to get really clean. It’s easy to change the oil. A funnel in an empty oil container and you can easily dump the old used oil in the jug no problems. But there’s always the little bits that don’t go in the jug that you have to clean out. As it’s pretty much pure oil dish soap doesn’t work well with cleaning it. The inside you can just use a spatula to scrape out the little bits. But the oil builds up on the sides and on the lid and baskets and no amount of dawn dish soap and scrubbing gets it off. I’m not sure if it’s dishwasher safe of not. The “filter” is a joke. Idk what they thought they were filtering. It’s just a white scrubby feeling fabric that collects oil as well. I do recommend this fryer I just would say save your empty oil jug for when you need to change the oil and have a good cleaning strategy for oily things. EDIT: After having this fryer for a good while I still love it. BUT I need replacement filters for it and can’t find them anywhere. Neither Amazon or Walmart have them. I emailed the company a few days ago and haven’t heard back yet. Using it without the filters makes too much heat escape so it will burn your hand when you grab the handle.

I bought this on a whim and really enjoy using it! I’ve never been a huge fan of fried food but after using it to fry seafood, I must admit I’m a huge fan now! Plus fresh French fries from scratch is unmatched. For the price, this fryer is pretty amazing!

Never had a fryer before. This one is a great size for small batches. And it’s easy to store away. I had to do some frying over the holidays and this worked perfectly. I used so much less oil than I would have in a pan. I let it cool poured out the oil and just wiped it clean. It was so much easier than I expected. Happy I got it even if I pull it out once in awhile definitely a great value for the money

We were using a smaller pot-type fryer and it wasn’t quite large / deep enough for frying up chicken the way I like to.
This is plenty deep and large enough, though you might want to pay attention to the oil capacity, lol..
I was used to getting a 3-qt jug and filling the pot.. This a 4.5-qt, lmao..
It takes a wee bit longer to get to temp (350F for me) but for the price you deal with less heating capacity.
If speed is important, you’re going to spend more.
Now, as for that operation..
You set your heat, you plug it in, and… nothing…
ThHeN you turn that Timer and Viola.. Lights, camera, action..
It is a nice safety feature, I reckon, seeing as you can’t just leave it running..
Just a little weird the first time you go to use it.
I like the fact I can use the one large (primary for me) or split with the 2 smaller baskets.
The baskets feel a little chintzy, could use some better design?
I’ll use them for the time being and keep my eyes out for better replacement baskets.
Still, all in all, a very good value for the money!

For the price, this deep fryer is hard to beat. It does take a larger amount of oil because of its size, but it got up to temp quickly and worked like a champ! Moreover, I had no issues with the fryer pulling too many amps and popping breakers. There’s no oil filter built into this fryer, but like I stated, the price is very good for its size and performance.

We have just received it so I can’t say to much until we ha very used it a few times, but we used it yesterday to make fish and chips and they were great 👍 we were very happy how they turned out it is a lovely looking unit,well made and it is perfect for what we need ,only time will tell ,but we are very happy with it so far, not sorry we got it .
