La GoPro 11 es mi primer cámara de la marca, y no la uso para “acción”, la utilizo como una cámara ultra portátil de video para viajes y eventos donde sea poco práctico una cámara de video. El primer video que grabé, use los micrófonos de la cámara y una grabadora externa para hacer después la edición; me di cuenta que el audio de la cámara es muy aceptable para mi sorpresa. Después vi en un canal de Youtube que usaban el mod con una muy buena calidad de audio, entonces decidí adquirirlo con excelentes resultados; además es compatible con el trípode volt (mi GoPro y el trípode están siempre unidos). Lo recomiendo si quieres mantener un perfil muy portátil, además el mod te permite conectar un micrófono y un monitor externo por si así lo necesitas. Por último debo apuntar que él media mod está hecho de plástico, no se que tan resistente sea, pero no lo veo para uso en situaciones de acción, si resulta útil para el tipo de video que realizó.Accesorio muy recomendable, aunque señaló que los micrófonos de la GoPro son bastante buenos.

The Media Mod is a game changer for your GoPro period.
If you’re wearing the camera and trying to get good audio, especially outdoors in less than ideal circumstances, this is a no brainer.
Its adds a number of functions to the camera that aren’t first apparent.
1. Virtually illuminates wind noise, especially when combined with the built wind reduction in camera. No deadbeats or any other wind reduction feature needed.
2. Adds the ability to plug in external Mics via the 3.5mm Mic jack and wireless systems like the DJI Mic 2 or RODE wireless for example.
3. Lets you choose between the front Mic or the Back Mic depending on your vlogging direction.
4. Adds a rugged outer case to the camera for more protection in rough terrain.
5. You can power the camera via the USB-C port for longer shoots, streaming setups.
6. You can use the HDMI port to connect to TV and external monitors.
Its definitely the best sounding microphone for the GoPro I’ve ever used and the ability to add pro quality Mics vis the Mic input is a game changer.

I’ve been using the media mod for a few weeks now and it’s been great. I would recommend for someone like me who likes to view the footage on a decent sized TV, having the media mod is a very simple process. I’ve also been utilising the rear microphone on the mod to keep mic noise down while riding my bicycle and shooting at the same time.
A great price and delivery was very fast, so I’m very happy.

This is the easiest way to watch your videos. Simply put around your gopro camera and plug in the mini hdmi cable and watch the videos.

Price was quite expensive in my opinion once receiving the item it feels like a flimsy plastic and sometimes using it taking out the Gopro it feels like it was gonna break or snap apart. Overall it works and the way i want it to. The microphone questionable compared to raw audio

It does improve sound recordings and filters out wind noises. Just make sure it’s fully plugged in, as it happened to me that no sound was recorded at all.

Great addition to Hero 11 Black! Adds HDMI, USB, and audio-in functions. I am using the media mod to livestream, and the HDMI out has better quality picture than relying on the GoPro connect app.

Es muy buen accesorio, cumple a la perfección y al menos te quitas el engorro que suponía llevar el adaptador de otras cámaras GoPro anteriores. Eso sí, en mi opinión es un poco caro.

Parfait pour connecter un micro sur la gopro. permet la fixation d’accessoires, pour ma part, un niveau à bulle. Le son est bon et le niveau sonore s’affiche à l’écran, même sous gopro lab. Pas encore essayé d’alimenter via power bank. Belle fabrication.

So some issues to be aware of upfront. This mod is not waterproof. If you have touch screen protector on the camera you won’t be able to get the media mod closed as the tolerances are tight. The original camera door unsnaps and needs to be removed so you can slide the camera in to this mod. This media mod is very good for audio compared to other setups I’ve used. It has three rubber doors on the back middle one being USB-C, bottom is external audio jack port. Top is mini HDMI port. The directional mic on the top has a wind reducer foam that snaps on. I like that I do not have to open the battery access door to recharge now as I can do it from the back USB port. I’m liking this setup and I have no plans to use this camera underwater anytime soon. I’m rating this a five out of five stars. Thank you! -Mike
