Wanted to write an initial review even though we’ve only had it for 2 days. This little truck is a lot of fun. It is sized perfectly for maneuvering around a small to mid sized backyard. Grass slows it down a bit versus hard surface, but it plows through our (regularly cut) lawn with no issues.
One huge plus that I wanted to mention is the variable speed control. I can max it out and rip around the yard full throttle, then cut the speed down to half for my 6 year old so he doesn’t wreck it (or his brothers), then cut it down even further to a near crawl for my 3 year old to drive it around.
It seems well put together and durable. The extra body is awesome, and both of the bodies look very nice in person. Battery life seems decent so far, but too early to really tell. Motor does get pretty hot running through grass, so that might be something to watch out for. Will report back once we have had it for some weeks.

I have been thurally impressed by this truck for the price. Barely breaking the $100 range it’s been a blast. Goes fast enough to challenge and keep an adult entertained, with the adjustable speed it can slow down enough for a young kid to have fun as well. I’ve taken it off jumps, driven on both a dirt and road tracks and it handles great.
I’m not sure how replaceable any parts are if they break, but for sub $100 I can buy this 4-5x before I touch the price of a traxxas or other name brand trucks.

it’s a great truck, a bit bigger and faster than the 1:18 this 1:14 truck is awesome, sometimes gets up curbs that are taller than it’s tires.. can jump very well.. but definitely needs the oil shocks, i put those on from the beginning and also used two of the original shocks to help with the weight of the rear. as you can see in one of the photos.. i had to change the angle to get a proper spring rate.. it rides really nice now. it’s heavy enough to crack the cover but easily replaceable, i added strings to hold the body clips because they like to fly away. i love the trophy truck style and i wish it had a high and low for the steering, and lights on off switch

My son has driven this car very hard! For the most part it holds up well to the abuse. Although we have broken a couple parts that have proven to be extremely difficult to source. Haiboxing website has some but not all that we need which makes no sense to me. They also do not offer aluminum upgrade options for these commonly broken parts. (Ordered some plastic suspension components weeks ago and they still have not arrived
)
We are still looking for replacement steering components. I hope they are available somewhere!

First one we got the front wheel drive broke immediately. Then the on off button broke. Sent it back and ordered a new one. The front wheel drive broke immediately again! Got money back both times and will be getting something different.

Very durable, fast and a lots of fun. Bought it for our kids and I’ve shamelessly taken it for myself now. This truck is comparable to big brands like traxxas, but for 1/5 the price .
Batteries last surprisingly long, has taken some big tubles and nothing has broken yet.
Will definitely buy again.

This is a great little car for the money! Drivetrain is solid, motor makes good power.
Downsides are the body pins are loose, and like to fly off, and the shocks are friction shocks, and are VERY bouncy. It actually can make the car hard to control on uneven terrain or even bumpy asphalt. The differentials, which give it good handling, cause power to get routed around unevenly when wheels lift off the ground, which happens a lot with the stock shocks. A $20 set of Haiboxing 1:14 scale oil filled shocks completely change the dynamics, and make the car WAY easier to control, and raise it’s performance on uneven terrain dramatically.
The fix for the body pins is a cheap body clip tether set. You just drill a couple of holes in the body for the tether to attach to, and hold the pins. That way when they come off, they don’t get lost.

I bought this to train and work out my border collie mix. He loves how fast it can go and I can give him enough running that he comes in wore out after we’re done. He has abused this we’ve run it into everything and it still holds up great I’m very impressed that the machine is still working after everything that we’ve been through I highly recommend if you just have kids
