An excellent processor for games, productivity, and thermals. A full 20 cores of pure power – no more Hyperthreading nonsense.

Loving every aspect of my system build. The MSI MAG Z890 Tomahawk mobo, the Crucial DDR5 and SSD and the creme de la creme Core Ultra 7 265k. I run math intensive programs and process astrophotography and this CPU says ‘I thought you were going to make it tough on me’, because it’s not breaking a sweat – literally. The CPU temp is hanging out in the low 30s. I’m using the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 for cooling and it’s overkill IMO. This thing runs much cooler than my 11th gen I7 in my Dell Notebook. So glad I skipped the 14th gen 14700K, much less heat and fast! I running two monitors, one (the 4k) through the Thunderbolt 4 port and the other with the HDMI port (a QHD) and the quality is amazing with beautiful colors straight from the CPU’s GPU cores. For my needs a separate GPU isn’t needed (but the new ARC B580 looks intriguing). IMO, the Core Ultra 7 256K is a winner.

Very very very smooth, fast, with ease running multiple programs. Highly recommend this and game changer.

Built a new PC a few months ago. So far this processor has been a workhorse and fairly efficient on power. Using a AIO two fan Corsair cooler barely ever runs warm. Added 128g 7200 DDR5 RAM and this thing can’t be slowed. Performs AI workflows in Stable Diffusion very well (wish the 4070 was better matched but it’s going to be replaced with 5080). People bag it for gaming but i have no issues playing Bioshock or Dying light. Runs easily on high settings 1440. I like it alot! Too many poor reviews from Youtube that only look at raw gamer stats. There’s pros and cons to all of them.

It is an excellent processor for productivity, with great capabilities and very good at multi-core tasks. Initially I have used it without a graphics card and it works very well for many games and programs. I am satisfied with its performance and thermal management. One point to note is that it consumes quite a lot of power compared to similar options even though it has a 3nm architecture, hopefully this will improve a bit with BIOS updates. All in all a great choice for work and play occasionally.

Molto veloce e scalda pochissimo.

Love it or hate it, I don’t jump on bandwagons even when it’s an obvious winner. I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t stand to use what everybody else uses.
The performance with this CPU is good enough for what I need and surprisingly the integrated graphics isn’t that bad. (I have a dgpu just wanted to test the integrated)
I recommend this cpu

This processor makes everything feel effortless—handling heavy Excel sheets, Revit, and AutoCAD with ease. A great purchase

Runs very cool, unlike 12th and 13th gen. Many issues with bios and drivers at this point, especially the igpu. May become a better one after sometime.

Very happy, normally an amd bro.

Adding this to my new mobo took my computer to benchmark in the top 2% in the world. And thats without even overclocking. Im letting the AI do the overclocking as needed so i dont get a lot of direct raw stats for that. But this thing runs like a beast. it hands out at a cool 32C and during gaming only up to 41C.
I have had no crashes or issues what so ever.
