it’s not… great. but not the worst chair i’ve ever had. It’s comfortable enough but the arm rests are way too low for anyone of normal height.. I’m 5’4 and the armrests (which are not adjustable) are so low I can’t use them comfortably unless I slouch way down. Otherwise the chair is comfortable enough.. the leather is soft. the rocking is nice, and it does adjust to where it’s easier to rock/recline. The controls for height and turning off and on the recline are horrible, they fit in loose and pop out every time I use them. I don’t know if I just don’t have them in tight enough? But I can’t seem to adjust them in any better. overall, not impressed and not worth the 260ish I paid.
Edited to add: I figured out the controls to where they stick in the slot right and no longer fall out. A couple months in and this chair is really not comfortable for me. It feels like it keeps my head and neck at an awkward angle causing pain and stiffness. I don’t recommend it.
Updating now that I’ve had it a couple months. I don’t recommend at all. Very uncomfortable, no lumbar support, this thing is awful, don’t waste your money

The Serta Bryce Executive Office Chair is a fantastic upgrade for anyone prioritizing comfort and ergonomics.
The Good:
Comfort Upgrade: Compared to my old Secretlab chair, this is a night-and-day difference. It’s significantly more comfortable for extended use.
Ergonomic Support: The patented AIR lumbar system provides excellent back support, perfect for long hours of work or gaming.
Quality Design: It looks professional and feels well-built.
The Bad:
No Recline Lever: Unfortunately, there’s no lever to adjust the reclining angle, which might be a dealbreaker if you prefer that feature.
Final Thoughts:
Despite the lack of a recline lever, this chair is a great replacement for a less comfortable option. It’s ergonomic, supportive, and far more enjoyable for extended sitting.
TL;DR: Super comfortable with great lumbar support, but missing a recline adjustment lever. Still a solid choice!

Product description clearly states that the arm rests are adjustable. They are not adjustable, and they are positioned far too low for anything even remotely ergonomic for typing. I was happy to see I had the option to return it because $560 is too much for a chair that didn’t match the description for what I agreed to buy. Then trying to disassemble the thing is a nightmare, the second you put that cylinder in, it’s forever. So then I’m trying to fit the base into a second box, and it’s awkward and i’m patching boxes together. It’s ridiculous. Don’t do it. Just go to a store and buy a chair.

I’ve had this chair for over a year now. I’ve bought so many $200-$300 chairs only to be disappointed when they came in. They either broke easy, material tore, weren’t comfortable. I study countless hours at my desk for medical school and it is normal for me to spend 15 hours at my desk. This chair is PERFECT! I can say being about 2 years out now that it is still the most comfortable things I have ever bought. It sits upright, it’s firm but comfortably firm. The cushion did not deflate or go flat like many others normally do, even being this far out and used this much. It also hasn’t started sinking down like many others do, it’s a great chair and I honestly need to buy another for my office at work. I would recommend this chair for anyone sitting at their desk for several hours a day.

Was holping this would help with muscle pain from sitting but I am back to using my old chair and passed it on to my partner. Too much money for what it is – glad I chose time payments now that we’re stuck with it. 🙁
Hoping once I drop some weight it will be more comfortable and I can use it.

This is by far the most comfortable office chair that I’ve ever owned or sat in. I’ve owned quite a few office chairs. Some big and comfy, some new ergonomic designs, some super expensive, others supplied by my employer, and even 2 other/prior Serta chairs. This, by far beats them all. I first purchased this chair for my wife in her office. She’s of average size as well, but she always felt like she was being swallowed by some of the larger, more cushiony office chairs. She wanted to be comfortable, but didn’t want to drown in the chair. I purchased this chair for her and she absolutely loves it. It’s been a year now, and it’s holding up well, looks great, and she has zero complaints. Which brings me to my personal purchase for myself. I’m average size. A little bulky, but not too big. I’ve been through so many chairs. They all feel great initially, but after a lot of use, I felt uncomfortable, or fatigued from sitting, and even sore. I have some lumbar back issues, and my tail bone occasionally gets sore if I sit too long, especially if I slouch over time. I was ready to buy a new chair, and it takes me forever to decide, however I do really like my wife’s chair. So I purchased this chair for myself. I must say, that this chair is the best that I’ve used. It’s not huge. You wouldn’t be too comfortable trying to nap in it. But for sitting and working? It’s amazing. Perfect lumbar support, super soft on the butt without swallowing you, and keeps you straight, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this product.

Chair looks great, provides firm back support and is comfortable. Only downsides are the back could be a little taller. I am 5’11” and the head rest is really a neck rest. Its like leather parts mixed with mesh so not full leather. I bought one of these two and a half years ago for a family member and its still holding up so I am optimistic this will last a while. Some of the rubber trim pieces (on the sides of the arm rests) aren’t perfectly sized and may fall out or need to be glued, however they are not critical to the performance, and are just for looks to cover up screws.
