Is it a best sounding earphones I’ve ever owned. The base is awesome and clear and so are the mids and highs. They create the best experience out of several earbuds I have owned. The major downside is the mic is terrible. It’s also the worst mic I’ve owned. If the mic is not important to you these are amazing headphones for the price. If the mic is important and you talk on the phone quite a bit I wouldn’t bother with these.

I thought I needed noise-cancelling earbuds for the gym, but these do the trick at a fraction of the price. Since they fit snugly with the silicone tips (and I have small ear canals), they block out a lot of noise passively. Noise-cancelling probably wouldn’t do much better, because it’s not optimized for voices and other higher frequencies. If you want earbuds and don’t want to pay $300, then these are a great value. Note that I bought them on sale for $68; the current price of $100 is pushing it.
The sound is clear and balanced, no excessive treble or bass. No connectivity issues using a Samsung phone and MacBook. Battery life shouldn’t be an issue for most people, they last forever.
If you haven’t used this type of earbud before, just note that when you first put them in, they might not seal well, but just give the silicone a minute to warm up and it will sit better (provided you have the correct tip size installed).

Cheap
Comfortable
Secure in ears
Like the ability to hear/ a take calls
Very disappointing bass ( almost none) and equalizer rather ineffectual ( also my ears 73 y/o)
My old Bose ear buds much better bass but batteries finally wearing down and way to difficult to replace them vs negligible expense to replace the unit
Sony app is easily usable and helpful
So far ( just received these) very pleased and would buy them again but NOT if primary mission is listening to high quality music

No issue with sound quality, built quality is also ok, wide range of sound stage we can choose in sony sound connect app. I can hear every beat of music with DSEE, but bass is not so high compared to earbuds like boult which I have. I use 0, 0, -1, -2, -3, bass -7 settings with music player app equaliser set to ‘rock’ .If you want to enjoy pure music with just adequate bass, you will be surely happy to buy this.
Update – Its 6mm driver capable of produce bass competitive to 13 mm driver, just increase bass level

Firstly, these fit my ear like a glove. I usually wear the wired apple earbuds, and they always slide out of my ear and never stay. I was really glad to put these on for the first time and they just stayed in and would not move around.
The sound quality is…okay. These are $40, so you can’t really expect something great. However, the app has a sound mixing customizer so if you like more pronounced bass, you can get that. It’ll even help you out figure out your own sound profile and let you test it on whatever you want to listen to: like the music you have on Spotify. I thought that was really nice that made these earbuds a little more valuable.
The battery life was okay. The case died in less than a day of use for me, and I didn’t use them for too long. I was a little sad about that, but it is $40, so I won’t complain too much.
Now, who are these earbuds for? I would say it’s for people who are casual music listeners or those who exercise. Like mentioned previously, it doesn’t have the best sound quality, but it’s good enough for people who are on a budget that want some reliable earbuds for everyday casual use. It also stays in most ears, so it should be good for exercise.

1) The sound of the WF-C510 is really good right out of the box without EQ. I listen to a lot of music, various genres, and everything is balanced and in control. Punchy bass, treble that’s crisp and doesn’t make my ears bleed, and decent mids. I definitely trust Sony when it comes to audio products.
2) Fit and comfort are amazing! I can leave these in all day. No joke, after 5+ hours of use, I feel zero discomfort. Not only are these earbuds the most comfortable earbuds of all time, but getting a good in-ear seal is effortless. Just set them and forget them, zero hassle. Just to note, there’s no ANC but I don’t mind; I use these at home where it’s already quiet. Further, there’s a feature called Ambient Sound Control, kind of the opposite of ANC, that lets outside noises in (press button on left earbud). Obviously, the volume has to be pretty low for this feature to be useful.
3) I rarely ever use playback controls on a pair of earbuds, as I just use my phone for that stuff. However, the physical buttons on the WF-C510 work like they should and it’s always nice to have actual buttons over touch controls, mainly because there’s less chance for accidental inputs, a common occurrence on my other earbuds.
4) The battery life seems to jive with Sony’s claims of 11 hours in the buds and another 11 in the case. I’m getting a 50% battery level after 5+ hours at a volume level above half with the “Sony Sound Connect” app installed on my phone. I’ll admit, the 11 hour battery claim was the #1 factor for my purchase.
5) The app gives you a ton of stuff to play around with. There’s a bunch of EQs, 360 audio (more app downloads and payment required, I think), information regarding battery levels, and more.
6) A couple of oddities: The charging case confuses me. Does the orange light turn off when charging is complete or does it stay lit? I’ve experienced both scenarios and both times the app said the earbuds and case were at 100%. The instruction manual was no help. Also, for some reason I had to re-pair the earbuds to my phone’s Bluetooth after shutting it off, which was super annoying. I was testing to see if an older device (without the app) would pair, so to avoid interference I turned off my phone’s Bluetooth. The older device paired with the earbuds just fine without the app, so it isn’t required. I plan on deleting it; it’s probably a major battery hog anyway.
7) Minor issues aside, the Sony WF-C510 delivers premium comfort and pleasing sound. and they’re super affordable. Get yours today! lol

I purchased these after a lot of research as a replacement for my Apple AirPods. Long battery life, full EQ customization with the option to preset default modes for different types of audio through the Sony Sound Connect app (not required for use). Great noise cancellation and ambient noise setting to hear your surroundings. Sound quality is great for music, video, etc. The case is compact (fits in the little pocket in jeans) and automatically connects to either side for single ear use by simply removing them from the case. Single button on each pod can be customized for a range of uses including volume, sound, voice control, Ambient noise/ noise cancellation etc.
The only complaint ive had was one time during a phone call on a windy day the microphone was having a hard time compensating for the high wind and I could hear the wind blowing into the microphone.
If you talk on the phone through your earpods outdoors regularly maybe choose another brand more focused to that need.
Otherwise these have been a great replacement for my AirPods.
