I followed Benji on instagram and somehow didn’t know he had a cookbook until I saw it randomly on Amazon. I was curious and I have to say… it exceeded my expectations. Easily mapped out ingredients and I love that they included the nutritional information and how long you can store it in the fridge. There’s so many very satisfying looking dishes; the ones you assume you just can’t have when in a calorie deficit. I love how determined he was to find healthier versions for his favourite foods and then complied them for others in a beautiful hardcover, tangible cookbook! Takes the work out for me and makes me feel confident I can still enjoy my comfort foods while trying to lose weight! I’m so excited to try them all!

I’ve already tried many recipes in the book and they’ve all been sooo good! I love that the recipes are ACTUALLY simple and easy. These days it feels like those are relative descriptions but these are really truly SIMPLE – using simple ingredients, and EASY – I’ve been able to replicate a few without needing to check the recipe every step of the way. All without skimping out on flavor!
Oh! And huuuge bonus- super kid friendly! My kids have loved the oatmeal pancakes, the chicken meatballs, and the pizza so far!
They’re also filling and don’t feel diet-y. I also love that the recipes are easy to make for 1 or 2 people, since not everyone is cooking for a whole family, but still easy for me to double or quadruple without adding a ton of prep or cook time.
I’ve literally been able to come home from work at 5:30p and prepped and cooked wholesome and delicious meals for my family by 6p.
Time and health, are my most precious currencies and this recipe book really helps me save both! I just can’t thank you enough Benji!

The recipes are super easy to follow and not very unfamiliar, even being in Australia, it’s not hard to source the ingredients as they are common every day items. Love love love this book!! It is the first cookbook that the recipes are so easy that I enjoy cooking from it! My whole family loves it. I even used to suffer from daily nausea and I have been taking the Immune shots daily and I do not have nausea anymore, must be the ton of ginger but I can live with that! Buy this cookbook! I just wanted a cleaner and higher protein diet. I did not purchase it to lose weight.
