Maya’s recipes are great. I don’t really know what more I can say. I’m fairly certain we have all of her low carb recipe books.

I am a keto beginner, so this may not be a book for experts but I found it very helpful!
The photos are beautiful and the keto diet information is helpful. What I like best is that the author takes most commonly used keto ingredients and explains how they compare to similar, such as the various flours.
There is a great section that explains what to expect of ingredients (for bread, cakes, etc) and how to get better results. There is also information that helped me understand the better uses of, say, protein powder for helping to crisp baked goods and to give breads more elasticity.
You cand find lots of helpful tips but it doesn’t take up a lot of the book. Mostly, the book is chock full of nice, easy recipes.
I think this was well worth purchasing and highly recommend it for newcomers or others who can’t quite figure out what went wrong in a recipe!

The key difference is that all of the recipes in this book are tailored to people like me who miss the flavor, texture, and comfort factor of high carb foods that are off-limits on a keto lifestyle.
Seriously, some of these dishes are absolute wizardry. Chewy, yeasty bread, the most exquisite cheesecakes, ridiculously realistic “sweet” potatoes — and no fake ingredients to achieve their flavors and textures! So impressed with this book and excited to serve these to my family. I don’t think they’ll be able to tell the difference from the high-carb versions!

These dishes take more time to make then recipes in her first book; but it’s so worth it. My family and I have enjoyed all the delicious recipes we have made so far. I highly recommend this cookbook.
