I bought this to start making my own cold brew coffee, and it works really well! This is the first coffee grinder I have ever bought and it was very easy for me to use and get the result I wanted! It’s not super loud, grinds up whole coffee beans with ease and the removable chamber makes it easier to clean. I do wish the cord was a little bit longer but I’m very happy with this coffee grinder.

Works very well, and grinds beans in seconds. It is pretty loud, but is is understandable though. It was very easy to take it apart for cleaning and super easy to put parts back in.

Grind speed is good, it’s powerful. You do have to pulse it a few times to get all the beans grounded. Design is nice and easy to clean. Sturdiness is good. Fits good in cabinets not bulky. No weird burning smell, but it’s one the louder side. Every one knows it’s coffee time..LOL I really don’t have any complaints, good buy for the price honestly.

I roll my own cigarettes so I use it to grind my tobacco. Grind speed is so fast that I need to becareful not to overgrind!
Consistency is good, you’ll just need to learn how long to hold down the power button to get the results you like!
It doesn’t over heat, or smell.
Capacity size is impressive for a small machine!
The design is easy to use and I love how the bottom pulls down so you can roll the cord!

I had my last Hamilton Beach grinder for 15 years, used multiple times per day and never had an issue with it. Last week the drive knob broke off of mine so it wouldn’t run the grinder cup. As it lasted me this long I sought the replacement and was pleasantly surprised to find out they were aware of this issue and fixed the grinder cup to the device overall. Will definitely be back again in another 15 years when I need another one, the product works really well and they definitely improve upon any weakness in the design.

After three years of use, I’m finally writing a review.
This is a very simple coffee grinder. It spins at one speed setting, so if you want a course grind, then don’t grind longer than 15 seconds. The longer you grind, the finer it gets.
There are two removable parts: 1) the cap/cup (top), and 2) the cup/blade (bottom). This makes cleaning very easy.
Here’s how you use the grinder. 1) Plug in the electrical cord. 2) Fill the cup/blade with coffee beans. 3) Place the cap/cup onto the cup/blade. 4) Press the button for at least 15 seconds. 5) Unplug machine by gripping the plug. 6) Turn machine upside down so the coffee grinds fall into the cap/cup. 7) Remove the machine from the cap/cup. 8) Pour out grinds from cap/cup.
I go through these steps because of some of the reviews. Some people say that they make a mess when they remove the cup/blade. I understand why. The cup/blade has fill lines. This implies that the cup/blade is intended to be removed during operations to remove the finished grinds. But no, do not remove the cup/blade with grinds in the cup/blade. Turn the machine upside down so that the grinds fall into the cap/cup. This is because the cap/cup removes easily, and the cup/blade does not remove easily. You will make a mess struggling with the cup/blade while it is full of grinds.
Another review said the cord get damaged at the base when unplugging. This is an example of the need for detailed instructions. What is obvious to some is not always so. When you unplug, grip the plug and pull. Do not only hold the machine and yank the cord out of the electrical outlet. You will damage the connection between the cord and the machine.
This coffee grinder is very simple, with a good design, well built and reasonably priced. Qualities that you want in any tool.

This little gem is so powerful! Its nice and compact and just a few pushes of the button and you got good ground fresh coffee from beans. Wow amazing is all I can say. We used it just about as quick as we got it today. Value for the price for sure.
